Last week we took the boy to the paediatrician for his annual checkup.
He doesn’t need surgery to fix up his umbilical hernia or grommits for his ears - at least not yet - but he does have a drinking problem.
Well these things are hereditary I hear you say. No not that kind of drinking problem!
He’s drinking too much milk, so that’s why he isn’t eating properly.

By regular contributor and Yucky Mummy Melissa Loughlin, mum of Charlotte, 2 and Lucy, nearly 4.
Well, I wasn’t thinking was I? Baby number two wasn’t exactly planned – I had hoped to have at least a three-year gap between babies, but it ended up being just under 23 months, way too close for my liking.

Having given birth once I thought it I knew what I was in for the second time around – boy was I wrong!
With my daughter I was booked into Sydney’s RPA birth centre. My partner and I felt ‘natural’ was for us and if I wasn’t coping I would be wheeled into the labour ward for pharmacological help.
On Oct 2, 2003, contractions started at 3am in the morning. Read the rest of this entry »
